You have the chance to win one of five tickets to the Glimmerglass Opera Festival to see the Tony Award-winning musical “West Side Story” on August 14. The prize includes a trip to the festival, lunch, and a ticket to the movie version of “West Side Story” at Munson-Williams Proctor Arts Institute, aka “The Munstitute” on August 4.
“West Side Story” is the first Broadway show to feature the inner city. It tells the story of two teens from rival street gangs who fall in love. It is based on Romeo and Juliet, but set in modern times, featuring characters that seem like people we see around today.
All you have to do for a chance to win tickets is read a novel and submit an essay by Friday, July 27. You may choose from Divergent by Veronica Roth or Warp by Colfer
