ROME AND ONEIDA, NY — The YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley is proud to announce a collaborative benefit concert to celebrate cancer survivorship and expand vital wellness services to youth survivors in the region. In partnership with MVCC’s Kidz & Coaches Club, Oneida Health, and The KEYS Program, the event will feature performances by acclaimed blues artists Nat Myers and Eden Brent.
Proceeds from the concert is a life-changing disease for the entire family, said Hank Leo, YMCA CEO. By uniting through music, we can provide the comprehensive support our youth survivors need to stay strong during their battle. Nat Myers is currently going through treatment himself. He’s an incredible musician and Eden is a highly-celebrated blues icon from Mississippi. We are fortunate to have both of them with us. The blues has a way of curing the blues.
We are looking forward to providing some hope and spirits lifted, he added.
