WWE Raw – July 6, 2026 (Chicago, IL)

The biggest shock of the week came out of Chicago, where CM Punk won the WWE Undisputed Championship from Sami Zayn. Cody Rhodes was scheduled to challenge Zayn, but Gunther attacked Rhodes backstage, forcing Punk to step in as a last-minute replacement. Punk pinned Zayn to capture the title in his hometown, almost 15 years after his famous 2011 “Pipe Bomb” promo. Both TheSportster and PWInsider confirmed the title change.

MJF retained the AEW World Championship over Mark Briscoe in a bloody main event, per Forbes and Slam Wrestling. Kenny Omega made the save and accepted a career-altering stipulation for Beach Break.
