A Washington state father is now facing felony hate crimes charges after video shows him saying racial slurs as he threatened a Black student who was involved in an altercation with his daughter and her boyfriend. The man has been identified as William Cunningham.
The incident took place in Monroe, Washington a suburb of Seattle, occurred nearly two months ago on Nov. 10, local station King 5 reported, when Cunningham’s daughter, who is white, shoved a friend of a Black student in the hallway.
According to records obtained by the news station, the student later confronted Cunningham’s daughter and her boyfriend in the school’s parking lot.
