UTICA — Utica University’s free Films on Thursday series continues on January 29 at 7:00pm with the movie, What The Hell Happened To Blood, Sweat & Tears?

The ground breaking jazz-rock band Blood, Sweat & Tears was one of the hottest groups of the late-1960s, selling records by the millions, winning Grammy awards, and performing at Woodstock. But after participating in a 1970 U.S. State Department sponsored tour of Yugoslavia, Romania and Poland, the group came home to political fireworks and angry fans. This documentary by John Scheinfeld chronicles that tour, complete with never before released footage from behind the Iron Curtain, and looks that the fallout that happened afterwards.
