Utica Mayor Tests Positive for Covid-19

The City of Utica announced that Mayor Palmieri has tested positive for Covid-19.

City of Utica Statement

Earlier this week, Mayor Palmieri tested positive for COVID-19.The Mayor experienced minor symptoms but is feeling better and will quarantine for the appropriate amount of time, per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.

Like many Uticans, the Mayor is working from home during this time. All departments within city government are fully functioning and there has been no impact to city operations or services. The Mayor appreciates the outpouring of support from the public and encourages everyone in our community to take this pandemic seriously and abide by all CDC, State and public health guidelines.

 

The staff, volunteers, and  contractors at Phoenix Media extend our wishes for a full and speedy recovery to Mayor Palmieri.
