Unitarian Universalist Church of Utica announces upcoming service

UU Utica Service Description
1/9/2022
“Lessons of pandemics: The ones we learn, and the ones we never do”
Glenn Coin

Pandemics are as old as human society, and yet each time one strikes  we are surprised anew. What lessons can we learn from the history of pandemics, and which mistakes do we seem doomed to repeat?

UUU member Glenn Coin has covered the Covid-19 pandemic for The Post-Standard/Syracuse.com. He has read dozens of books on past plagues and pandemics in hopes of gleaning insights into the current one.

This is a hybrid service and can be registered for if a person follows all reopening guidelines including being fully vaccinated and masked at the service.  You can register at https://rsvp.church/r/SAbN5qk5. You can find our reopening guidelines on our worship page at http://www.uuutica.org/worship/.
