Utica, N.Y. (October 25, 2017) – Grammy Award Winning saxophonist Kenny G will be performing live at The Stanley Theatre on Sunday, November 5th at 7:30pm sponsored by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and AOW Associates. This is a benefit concert event for The Stanley Theater and Valley Health Services (VHS). This date is part of Kenny G’s ‘Miracles, Holidays & Hits’ tour, and it is the tenth in a series of co-promoted concerts by The Stanley and Valley Health Services.
Tickets are on sale and range from $35.00 – $45.00 – $65.00. Additional service charges may apply. In a recording career that spans almost three decades and 23 albums, Grammy Award Winning saxophonist Kenny G has grafted elements of R&B, pop and Latin to a jazz foundation solidifying his reputation as a premier artist in contemporary jazz. Since the early ‘80s, his combination of unparalleled instrumental talent and indelible melodies has resulted in sales of more than 75 million records worldwide (45 million in the US alone) and more than a dozen songs at the top of Billboard’s contemporary jazz chart.
Kenny G has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the business during his legendary career, ranging from Michael Bolton to Whiney Houston to Katy Perry. In January, Kenny G released his fourteenth studio album, Brazilian Nights via Concord Records. The ten-song set, Kenny’s tribute to the ‘masters’ of Bossa Nova, is a mixture of classics and Kenny G originals.
