What: Small and medium-sized business owners face the ongoing challenge of recruiting and retaining a talented, dedicated workforce. Child care solutions can play a pivotal role in supporting employees and increasing productivity. 

The Mohawk Valley launch of The Business Navigator Toolkit for Employers provides essential tools and resources to help businesses implement effective child care strategies tailored to their employees’ needs. 

Who: This event brings together regional business leaders & owners, HR professionals, and policymakers to debut innovative approaches to creating family-friendly workplaces that benefit both employees and employers. It is organized by the Child Care Council of Oneida County – Cornell Cooperative Extension in conjunction with the statewide Early Care & Learning Council and funded by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. 

Why: The Business Navigator toolkit, in print and online, offers actionable insights, case studies, and information on tax credits to help offset the costs of providing child care benefits.
