Utica, NY (September 2026) — Time is running out to recognize the individuals, businesses and
organizations making a meaningful difference throughout Central New York. The Good News Foundation
has extended the nomination deadline for its 2026 Awards and Recognition Program through Sunday,
September 13.
The program celebrates those whose faith, service and generosity reflect the Foundation’s mission of
Christ, compassion and community. Selected recipients will be honored at The Good News Foundation’s
“1992 Appreciation Dinner” on October 8, 2026.
Friends of The Good News Foundation Award honors individuals and organizations for exceptional
service, support and commitment to the Foundation.
Steward of The Good News Foundation Award recognizes outstanding generosity through financial
support, in-kind gifts or other contributions that strengthen the Foundation’s mission.
Evangelist Award honors an individual or organization whose faith, service or outreach has helped
advance the Gospel throughout Central New York.
“We are blessed by so many individuals and organizations whose service, generosity, and faith make a
meaningful difference,” said Brian Saville, CEO and Executive Director of The Good News Foundation.
“These awards give us an opportunity to recognize and celebrate their contributions.”
With the extended deadline quickly approaching, community members are urged not to wait.

Nominations will be reviewed by the Awards & Recognition Committee, with final approval by the Board
of Directors.
