The CDC’s Defy Dyslexia Gala Is This Weekend

UTICA, NY., Mar. 9, 2017 – The Children’s Dyslexia Center of Central New York is hosting its 3rd annual gala this Saturday, March 11th. This is sure to be an exciting event with music provided by DJ John Sallustio, as well as a basket raffle and door prizes. There will even be a first-hand interactive display of dyslexia titled Experiencing Dyslexia.

The Gala is being held at Hart’s Hill Inn at 135 Clinton Street in Whitesboro, NY 13492.Cocktail hour starts at 6:00 pm followed by dinner at 7:00 pm. In coordination with the gala’s theme of “Reading is Magic!”, local magician Jim Lutz will be performing.

All proceeds from the Gala Event will help The Children’s Dyslexia Center of CNY continue their mission of offering free services in tutoring and training to children with dyslexia, and to continue to support clinical research programs that focus on dyslexia.
