LITTLE FALLS, NY (September 29, 2025) – The city of Little Falls will host its tenth Cheese Festival on Saturday, October 4, 2025. To celebrate, the festival promises to be the biggest and best yet, running a full gamut of New York cheesemakers, gourmet foods, craft beverages and more on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. “We are so proud of how our festival has aged,” said Teri Chace of the Little Falls Cheese Festival committee. “It’s hard to believe that we all but had to beg vendors to attend our first cheese festival. But many of them sold out by mid-afternoon, and we’ve continued to grow every year since, with last year’s festival drawing over 13,000 attendees.”
Special for this year, the Little Falls Cheese Festival will kick off with a New Orleans-style second line band, Extra Sharp, parading down the length of Main Street. The 10th Little Falls Cheese Festival will also feature Korina Moss (Cheddar Off Dead, Case of the Bleus), award-winning author of the Cheese Shop Mystery series, and the Rhythm & Rinds beer and wine tasting at Little Falls’ Rock Valley Brewery. After the festival wraps up, the New York State Cheese Council will host a fundraiser after-party at Rock Valley Brewery. The Little Falls Cheese Festival features over 120 varieties of New York State farm-produced cheeses, from hard cheeses such as cheddar, gouda and Havarti to soft cheeses, goat cheeses, cheese curds and more. Numerous New York-based gourmet food and craft beverage vendors will also be on hand with delicious offerings to complement the cheeses. Also returning this year are showcases for local entertainment and musical acts all along Main Street, the Food Truck Food Court and free, convenient shuttle buses for ease of parking.
