Utica was treated to a cultural musical delight on Saturday evening April 9 at the MWPAI Sculpture Court in the presence of Sweet Honey in the Rock, an all female, Black a cappella ensemble. Honey in the Rock is an American three-time Grammy Award–nominated troupe who express American history and culture through song, movement, and sign language. They played to a nearly sold out audience and captivated those in attendance, young and old including some of the youngest feeling free to dance throughout the concert.
