SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) is hosting a three-day “AI in Action Showcase,” which will bring together leading researchers, educators, and industry experts to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming fields from advanced manufacturing and healthcare to education and workforce development.
WHEN: Monday, March 30 – Wednesday, April 1
WHERE: Student Center Multi-Purpose Room
Media is invited to attend all sessions, but three specific ones to consider include:
- A talk by Dr. Nicholas Qandah on Monday, March 30 from noon-1:30 p.m., exploring the role of AI in advancing neurosurgical care.
- A panel on Monday, March 30 from 3-4 p.m., featuring Dr. William LeCates (MVHS), Dr. Maria Kontaridis (MMRI), and Dr. Jacques Kpodonu (Harvard Medical School), discussing how innovation and AI are transforming healthcare.
- On the morning of Wednesday, April 1 at 9:45 a.m., there will be a keynote by Dr. Gerard Puccio, focused on creativity and applied imagination in an AI-driven world.
