WHEN: Saturday, May 4 – 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s College of Engineering commencement ceremony begins at 10 a.m., followed by a ceremony at 2 p.m. for graduates from the College of Business, College of Health Sciences, and College of Arts and Sciences.
SUNY Poly is thrilled to welcome Griffiss Institute (GI) President & CEO Heather Hage and Community Advocate and Pastor of Cornerstone Community/Plymouth Bethesda Church Mike Ballman as the College of Engineering and Colleges of Arts & Sciences/Business/Health Sciences commencement speakers, respectively.
In total, SUNY Poly will celebrate 802 graduates, with 490 students receiving a bachelor’s degree and more than 312 having earned a graduate degree or certificate of advanced study. The top three undergraduate degrees being awarded by number of students are in computer science, business administration, and mechanical engineering technology. SUNY Poly will also celebrate the first recipient of its Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate of Advanced Study program.
