SUICIDE LOSS DOCUMENTARY AT UTICA PUBLIC LIBRARY

On Saturday, Sept. 8th at 1:00pm, the Utica Public Library will screen “Reclaiming Life: Faith, Hope, & Suicide Loss.”  This excellent documentary explores the sensitive subject of suicide from the perspective of two women, both of whom lost a child to suicide.  The film addresses stigma, anger, despair, grief, hope, faith, and ultimately the chance to utilize coping mechanisms for some form of healing.  A wonderful examination of a subject that is difficult to discuss but takes the lives of over one million people every year.  The screening is free to the public.  Call 315-735-2279 with questions.
