Subway partners with Make-A-Wish® Central New York to make wishes come true

June 21, 2017 — Make-A-Wish® Central New York announces a new partnership with Subway Restaurants in the Mohawk Valley.

Subway customers can help make wishes come true with the purchase of a paper star in participating Mohawk Valley Subway locations. These stars will be posted in the shop recognizing those who have helped make a difference in children’s lives. During the month of July, 29 Subway locations in Herkimer and western Oneida County will sell paper stars for a minimum of $1.00 each. One hundred percent of the funds collected throughout the campaign will benefit Make-A-Wish. Each star purchased will trigger a ‘$1 off a Footlong Sub’ coupon to be redeemed by the customer when they visit Subway at a future date.

Make-A-Wish Central New York is dedicated to granting the special wishes of kids who face life-threatening medical conditions. Since the chapter’s inception in 1985,  1,700 wishes have been granted throughout its 15-county region, which includes Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Otsego, St. Lawrence, Tioga and Tompkins counties.

Proceeds from this event benefit Make-A-Wish Central New York and help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. For more information please call (800)-846-9474 or email dsimon@makeawishcny.org.
