Bronx man faces multiple felony counts following Thruway traffic stop

On December 18, 2024, Troop T Troopers from SP Tarrytown, arrested a Bronx man for felony drug and gun possession on the Interstate 87 in Town of Greenburgh.

At approximately 1:00 pm, Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2018 Nissan Rogue for violations of the vehicle and traffic law on the New York State Thruway.  Investigation determined the operator identified as, Maximilian X. Blevins, age 27, was in possession of a stolen loaded SCCY Industries 9mm firearm from North Carolina, approximately 1,574 grams of white cocaine, 15 grams of pink cocaine, 354 grams of Alprazolam, 467 grams of cannabis, 6 grams of amphetamine, 3 grams of MDA and 145 grams of heroin as well as various drug paraphernalia.

Blevins was arraigned before the Honorable Judge David A. Koenigsberg in the village of Dobbs Ferry and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail on several vehicle and traffic violations and 18 criminal charges, including:

  • Criminal possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, a class A felony
  • Criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree, a class A-II felony
  • Two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, a class B felony
  • Criminal possession of a narcotic drug 4th degree, a class C felony
  • Criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree, a class C felony
  • Criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree, a class D felony
  • Criminal possession of a firearm, a class E felony
  • Criminal possesion of stolen property 4th degree, a class E felony

Along with several misdemeanor charges.

On December 20, 2024, State Police members arrested Jennifer M. Ashton, age 36, of Peru, NY, for criminal possession of a weapon 3rd-previous conviction, assault 2nd, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th. 
 

On December 20, 2024, at approximately 9:20 a.m., Troopers responded to Guide Board Road in the town of Black Brook for a possible stabbing.  An investigation determined Ashton and the victim were involved in a verbal argument, which turned physical when Ashton became more irate, later grabbing a knife and scissors.  Ashton then stabbed the victim in the neck and head, causing minor bleeding and injury. 
 

Ashton was arrested and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing.  The victim was medically evaluated on scene by EMS, but the victim signed on for more medical treatment from the hospital. 
 

Ashton was arraigned in the Town of Ausable Court, where she was released on her own recognizance. 


Peru female arrested for CPW 2nd, CPCS 7th, assault 2nd, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia

Plattsburgh male arrested for assault 3rd

On December 20, 2024, State Police members arrested Howard Beeshaw, age 51, of Plattsburgh, NY, for assault 3rd. 
 

On December 20, 2024, at approximately 10:34 p.m., Troopers responded to Cross Road in the town of Plattsburgh for a possible assault complaint. An investigation determined that Beeshaw and the victim were involved in a physical altercation when Beeshaw struck the victim and pushed the victim into a wall, causing the victim a small laceration to the head. The victim was able to get away from Beeshaw.   The victim was transported to CVPH for a medical evaluation and later released. 
 

Beeshaw was arrested and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing. He was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and released on his own recognizance. 


Three individuals arrested in the town of Plattsburgh stemming from a larceny case

On December 21, 2024, State Police members arrested Brenden M. Mullee, age 25, of Plattsburgh, NY, for assault 3rd, reckless endangerment 2nd, and conspiracy 6th, arrested Denise L. Mullee, age 49, of Plattsburgh, NY, for petit larceny, and arrested Chauna M. Maneeley, age 26, of Plattsburgh, NY, for conspiracy 6th.

On December 21, 2024, at approximately 4:13 p.m., Troopers responded to Centre Drive in the town of Plattsburgh for a larceny complaint. An investigation determined all three individuals, B. Mullee, D. Mullee, and Maneeley entered the store and worked together to steal merchandise. The three individuals were confronted about the stolen product by an employee.  The employee continued to follow them to their vehicle when approaching the vehicle, B Mullee grabbed and started throwing punches at the employee. B. Mullee got into the vehicle’s driver’s seat, and the other two were passengers. B. Mullee began to drive at the employee, causing the employee to jump out of the way.   The employee did not need medical attention.

B. Mullee, D. Mullee, and Maneeley were located, arrested, and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing. All three were released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Plattsburgh Court, for a later date in January.


Domestic is the town of Plattsburgh leads to an arrest

On December 22, 2024, State Police members arrested Beverly F. Wood, age 64, of Plattsburgh, NY, for assault 2nd, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, menacing 2nd, and assault 3rd.  
 

On December 22, 2024, at approximately 10:52 a.m., Troopers responded to Anderson Road in the town of Plattsburgh for a physical domestic.  An investigation determined Wood and the victim were in a verbal argument, which turned physical when Wood bit the victim.  Wood became more irate, getting a metal rod portion of a mop, making threatening remarks, and then striking the victim in the face, causing a laceration.  The victim did not need medical attention. 
 

Wood was arrested and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing.  She was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court, where she was remanded to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash, $10,000 secured bond, or $20,000 unsecured bond.
