St John’s Weekend at Masonic Care Community
Photos and story by Tom Loughlin, Jr.

#5266- Past Grand Commander of New York’s Knights Templar Sir Knight Stenrick Adams of Brooklyn delivers an impassioned sermon to attendees at the St John’s Day weekend’s third and final religious event. Earlier services were held for Jewish and Muslim attendees. In this nondenominational Christian service, Adams reflected on the importance of St John the Baptist’s role in Christian history and while Christ supplanted him in primacy, John the Baptist’s work and lessons still remain important ones.

Worshippers at the Masonic Care Community’s Tompkins Chapel hear Knight Templar Past Grand Commander Stenrick Adams of Brooklyn deliver a stirring sermon.
