UTICA, NY – Spooky Season is upon us at the Utica Zoo! Bring the family to enjoy the fall spooky season and spend a day at the Zoo.
With COVID restrictions, the Utica Zoo is unable to hold their regular Spooktacular Harvest Festival, but that isn’t stopping them from decorating the grounds, doing pumpkin enrichment with the animals, kids under 13 who visit the Zoo dressed in costume will receive a bag of treats, and food vendors Little Jordanos and Brake from the Grind will be available for all of your concession needs.
Spooky Season at the Utica Zoo is October 24 and 25 from 10 am-4 pm and October 31 and November 1 from 10 am-4 pm. Standard admission rates of $8 for adults, $5 for kids 3-12, $6.75 for seniors 62+, and kids under 2 are free.
“Not being able to hold our annual Spooktacular Harvest Festival is another big loss for us this year,” said Visitor Experience and Marketing Manager Mark Simon, “but we really wanted to embrace the season as much as we are able and allow our visitors to do the same. Our animals love the pumpkin enrichment too, so it’s just a great reason to celebrate the Spooky Season with our community.”
