Spooky maze in Jamesville Beach Park offers family fun

If you’re looking for some Halloween fun, a spooky but yet family-friendly drive-through experience opens tonight at Jamesville Beach Park.

Halloween at the Park runs every night through October. Vehicle loads are encouraged to take a ride through a roughly one-mile maze. From the Spider Forest to the Villain’s Village, you’ll find dozens of structures lit up by LED lights.

Tickets must be purchased online, but once you get there, you can tune your radio to “Spooky FM” to get in the mood.

Unlike many other haunted attractions you’ll find in the area, this one can be enjoyable for all ages.

“Come have some great family time while you’re driving through. And, we specifically make it so it’s not overly scary,” said Galaxy Media Chief Operations Officer Carrie Wojtazek. “You know, there’s things in the community like Fright Nights, and things meant to give you that scare, and this is more of a fun way to celebrate Halloween. See all the themed houses and themed areas within the show, and get dressed up.”

When you purchase your tickets, you can also purchase Halloween Light Savers as well. Dunkin’ Donuts is a sponsor, so every car will also get a coupon for a half dozen donuts.

Tickets per car load are $10 Sunday through Thursday, and $15 Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets must be purchased online at HalloweenAtThePark.com.
