While the tennis champion enjoys imparting her skills to her daughter, she mentioned that Olympia has other interests outside of the sport.
“Honestly, she likes playing piano,” she said on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “When she was in my belly, I played a lot of piano music.”
Serena shared a video on her Instagram page showing Olympia teaching her how to play the instrument.
However, Serena and her husband Alexis Ohanian decided to enroll Olympia into tennis lessons with an instructor during the ongoing pandemic.
“We started because it’s a socially safe sport, and when COVID happened, it was like, we’re just in the house with a 3-year-old, what do we do?” Serena said to People in April. “There was only one answer, to my dismay.”
