ALBANY – State Senator Joseph Griffo has invited Charlie DiGristina of “It’s A Utica Thing!” to Albany today to showcase Utica’s local cuisine during a gathering of the New York State Brewers Association.
As representatives of breweries from all across the state meet in the Capitol to highlight their legislative agenda, Senator Griffo thought it would be the perfect opportunity to introduce the state’s legislators to some of the exceptional food products that Utica has to offer.
Fred Matt and the Saranac Brewery are also attending this event to highlight some of the fine beer products that are produced in the city of Utica.
“Anyone who has eaten in Utica knows that we have some of the best food you’ll find anywhere, so I invited Charlie DiGristina to give Albany a taste of what they’re missing as we discuss the outstanding success of the many breweries across our state, including the Saranac F.X. Matt Brewing Co.,” Senator Griffo said. “We have so much to be proud of in Utica and the Mohawk Valley, and today I am glad to share with my colleagues in Albany a little bit of what Utica has to offer.”
