An Oneida County resident has been awarded a $4,000 “Phi Theta Kappa External Transfer Scholarship” to attend Alfred State.
Ashley Allen of Utica graduated in 2017 from Whitesboro High School and has been accepted into the forensic science technology (BS) program.
The “Phi Theta Kappa External Transfer Scholarship” is awarded to transfer students who are members in good standing of Phi Theta Kappa and are entering a baccalaureate degree program.
Fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Alfred State offers some 51 associate degree programs, 28 baccalaureate degree programs, and two certificate programs.
