Pride of Workmanship Awards
Nomination deadline is September 11
Utica, NY – The Rotary Club of Utica’s Pride of Workmanship Awards return this fall,
and the club is now accepting nominations from the community for its 2026 award
recipients.
The Pride of Workmanship Awards recognize employees below the management
level who demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and pride in performing their
jobs well. Eligible nominees must have at least three years of service with their
employer and must be nominated by a colleague. Award recipients are individuals
who consistently exceed expectations through the quality of their work and their
commitment to the overall well-being and success of their organization or business.
Since 1990, the Rotary Club of Utica has recognized outstanding employees
throughout the community through the Pride of Workmanship Awards. This year’s
awardees will be honored at a luncheon in October, with additional event details to
be announced.
Pride of Workmanship recipients exemplify excellence in the workplace and
demonstrate:
● Commitment to their employer, outstanding competence and consistency of
effort
● Enthusiasm, initiative and commitment to their co-workers as team players
● Professionalism, creativity and a willingness to go above and beyond their job
description
● An understanding of this year’s award motto, “Where Pride Meets
Performance.”
The deadline for nominations is September 11, 2026. The nomination forms are
