Nomination deadline is September 9
Utica, NY – The Rotary Club of Utica’s Pride of Workmanship Awards returns this
fall, and the club is now accepting nominations from the community for this year’s
award recipients. The awards recognize outstanding contributions by employees
(below the management level) in all businesses, industries and organizations.
Since 1990, Utica Rotary has recognized outstanding individuals and will do so
again at their 2025 awards program on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at noon at Five
Points Public House and Events Center in Utica.
Pride of Workmanship recipients exemplify an outstanding commitment to their
job, and their performance makes a positive difference to their employer.
Moreover, recipients demonstrate the following:
● Outstanding competence and consistency of effort
● Commitment to their employer
● Commitment to their co-workers (team players)
● Professionalism and creativity
● Enthusiasm and initiative
● Willingness to go above and beyond the job description
● An understanding of the award’s motto: “Do it once, do it well. Build a better
future.”
The deadline for nominations is September 9. The nomination forms are available
