Panel on Climate Action in New York at Hamilton College
NYS Senator Rachel May among Panelists

Hamilton College will host a panel discussion, “The Road Ahead for Climate Action in New York: How Should State & Federal Authorities Address Climate Change?” on Wednesday, April 24, at 7 p.m. in Bradford Auditorium, Kirner-Johnson Building, on Hamilton’s campus. The discussion is free and open to the public.

Participants will include grassroots environmental group Citizens’ Climate Lobby; The Sunrise Movement, a group of young people uniting to stop the climate crisis; and New York State Senator Rachel May.  Panelists will discuss policy choices facing New York State in dealing with climate change.  The panel will especially focus on two models: carbon taxes and a green new deal.
