Oswego has one of the highest transmission rates in region

Oswego County continues to have one of the highest transmission rates across the region, and to help try slow the spread of COVID-19, the county health department is hosting a vaccine clinic every Wednesday at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic.

That’s for boosters, as well as first and second doses.

Both the Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson vaccines will be given out from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., while the Moderna shot will only be given from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. only.

The health department says walk-ins are welcome, but online pre-registration is encouraged.

You can do that by heading to the county health department website or by calling the COVID-19 hotline at (315) 349-3330.
