Oneida Conservatives Endorse Paul Deep for Family Court Judge

(Rome, NY) The Oneida County Conservative Committee this week endorsed Paul Deep in this year’s election for Family Court Judge. Mr. Deep previously earned the backing of the local Republican and Independence parties so, in all, he will appear on three ballot lines on November 7th.

“I’m honored that the principled members of the Conservative Committee endorsed my candidacy after thorough screenings of both candidates,” said Mr. Deep.“My commitment to Oneida County is strong and, if elected, I will maintain these hometown values as your next Family Court Judge.”

Mr. Deep is a successful local attorney who focuses his legal practice in Utica on Family Law. He also serves as an Assistant District Attorney in neighboring Madison County.

Over the past 12 years, Mr. Deep has represented hundreds of local children in the NYS Attorneys for Children program and has been recognized with the Michael F. Dillon Attorney for the Child Award (2010) and twice won the Peacemaker Law Guardian of the Year Award (2007 and 2011).

Born and raised in Oneida County, Mr. Deep lives in New Hartford with his wife, Donna, and their three young children.

This vacancy in Oneida County Family Court arose due to the recent retirement announcement by Judge Joan Shkane. The election will take place on Tuesday, November 7th.
