Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Women of Worship Awards. Founded in 2008, the annual awards recognize women who have provided countless hours of service and support in Mohawk Valley area local churches and synagogues. The Women of Worship awards provide community-wide recognition to those women who give so much and would never ask for anything for themselves. It is a time to celebrate their impact and provide inspiration for others to follow their example.
Women from the Mohawk Valley will be recognized based on the attributes of 5 biblical heroines: Deborah, Rahab, Ruth, Esther, and Hannah and two modern day women. The community is encouraged to take the time to recognize and uplift those who are working diligently on behalf of others in their local churches and synagogues.
The nomination deadline is April 30, 2025. Forms (attached) will be available at Mohawk Valley area churches and synagogues and can also be obtained by contacting wowa@live.com, or by calling 315.525.9792.
