No Kings Protests Return on Saturday, March 28th

Utica N.Y. –

On Saturday,  March 28, residents across the Mohawk Valley will join with millions of Americans across the country in a nationwide day of nonviolent protest at the third No Kings National Day of Nonviolent Action. Local No Kings Rallies will include Utica, Rome, and Herkimer. To register and for a full list of participating cities and event details visit nokings.org

No Kings is a mass, nonviolent movement that  brought out 5,000 people across the Mohawk Valley, and over 7 million people across all 50 states on October 18, 2025 , to reject authoritarian power grabs and defend dignity and freedom. The March 28th day of action is the next step in this growing movement, channeling that energy into another coordinated, peaceful mobilization with the simple message “We don’t do Kings or dictators in America.”

As local residents face rising gas, grocery, and healthcare costs, while the administration’s war with Iran costs billions per week in tax dollars, community members will unite to demonstrate that our country does not belong to strongmen, billionaires, or those who rule through fear and violence. Our country belongs to the people.

The Utica, Rome, and Herkimer No Kings rallies are sponsored by Indivisible Mohawk Valley and co-sponsored by  NAACP Rome Branch, Oneida County Pride Association, League of Women Voters Utica-Rome Metropolitan Area, Interfaith Coalition, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, Citizen Action NY Central NY Chapter, and the Oneida County Democratic Women’s Club.

All No Kings events are dedicated to a shared commitment to nonviolent protest and community safety. Organizers are instructed in de-escalation and are working with local partners to ensure peaceful and powerful actions nationwide.
