Award winning Actor Kevin Byrd has been Honored with a Special Proclamation Award by The New York State Senate on behalf of New York State/New Yorkers, just shy of his 45th Birthday Celebration on December 12th,2025.
Kevin Byrd is the Co Founder and President of the Brown Byrd Foundation Inc.and a Utica native. Byrd has flown high with his life’s work being featured on the World’s largest Billboard Illumination attracting millions worldwide, in New York City the One Times Square Billboard this January 27th-30th,2025 at 9pm nightly.
Kevin Byrd has been acknowledged by World Leaders across the world, including Buckingham Palace, Vatican Leaders on behalf His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, Democratic and Republican United States of America Presidents George Bush and Barack Obama, along with the House of Representatives Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
Kevin Byrd’s life work was recently Induction into the Marquis Who’s Who in America History Books 77th Edition this past July 2025. Byrd was permanently archived into the Oneida County Historical Center Museum Exhibition called History Makers in 2021.
Kevin Byrd was named Super Nova in September 2024,and immortalized with a Statue unveiling commissioned by Matt Glen of Big Statues on February 2023. Byrd was also honored with an Honorary Street Designation called Brown Byrd Lane in Utica, New York Common Council Representatives.
Although, Kevin Byrd is the most Awarded African American Male worldwide for his Advocacy of Prostate Cancer Awareness. He has remained humble and an unwavering Faith in Jesus Christ since early childhood. His motto, All things are possible with Jesus Christ and hard work.
