Naturalization Ceremony set for Thursday, June 13, 2024 at U.S. District Court in Utica, New York
United States District Court Judge David N. Hurd will preside over a Naturalization Ceremony to be conducted on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the U.S. Courthouse in Utica, New York. Fifty-one (51) individuals representing twenty-three (23) nations from five (5) different continents around the world—including nations such as Belarus, Cambodia, India, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine—are scheduled to be
sworn in as new citizens. Rebecca McLain, the Executive Director of the Oneida County History Center, will be the featured speaker. Asabuddin bin Habesuddin, a new citizen formerly of Burma, will also share a few words. Patrick Marthage will perform a few musical selections and the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department will present the colors. The ceremony is open to the public, and cameras are welcome.
