Best Companies Group evaluates organizations across the state based on company culture, employee satisfaction, programs, benefits, and workplace policies through a comprehensive employee survey and organizational assessment. Since 2004, the program has spotlighted top employers committed to creating positive work environments and serves as a celebration of the state’s elite employers who have demonstrated what it takes to build workplaces where people love to work. “Being recognized on the Best Companies to Work for in New York list for the past eight consecutive years is an incredible honor for our organization,” said Kate Rolf, President and CEO of Nascentia Health. “This recognition reflects the intentional investments we continue to make in our employees, our culture, and the meaningful work our teams do every day to support the communities we serve.”
In addition to ranking among the top 15 large employers in New York, Nascentia Health also served as this year’s Network and Reception sponsor for the 2026 Awards Ceremony held at the Marriott Albany in late April.
Nascentia Health is one of Central New York’s largest home healthcare agencies, offering in-home skilled nursing, therapies, and home health aide services. Across the state, Nascentia provides managed long-term care in 48 counties and Medicare Advantage plans in 15 counties. Founded in Syracuse in 1890, the organization brings more than 135 years of home care expertise and employs more than 700 staff across offices in Syracuse, Rome, Rochester, Buffalo, and Albany.
