I hope this finds you well and enjoying the lovely weather we’ve been having – with the fall comes NAACP Oneida County Branch’s annual Freedom Fund Dinner! I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Freedom Fund Dinner planning committee to extend an invitation to join members of the branch and our community at this year’s Freedom Fund Dinner on Sunday, November 2.
This year, we have the pleasure of welcoming Giovanni Harvey, native Utican and civic engagement advocate, as our keynote speaker! In keeping with the theme of “The Fierce Urgency of Now”, the branch will also take the opportunity to recognize four community members and two community organizations for the ways in which they have actively engaged in contributing to the functioning of democracy, the betterment of their community, and the advancement of shared goals and values.

Tickets for the Freedom Fund Dinner are available now on Eventbrite! You can find them at this link. Here’s some additional information:
- Early bird tickets are available until October 1. Early bird ticket prices are $70 for adults (21 and older), $50 for youth (20 and younger). Tickets for lifetime members are $50. A one year NAACP membership is included with youth and adult tickets.
- General admission tickets are available until October 20. The price for tickets purchased between October 1 and October 20 are $75 for adults (21 and older), $55 for youth (20 and younger) Tickets for lifetime members are $50. A one year NAACP membership is included with youth and adult tickets.
