UTICA, NY – The North Utica Community Center, part of The Neighborhood Center, is spreading holiday cheer with two exciting, free events this December!
The first event, a Christmas Luncheon and Concert, will take place on Thursday, December 5, at 12:00 noon. Guests will enjoy a delicious meal while being serenaded by the talented Italian Choir of the Mohawk Valley and the Yesterday Ensemble. To make the occasion even more special, every attendee will receive a complimentary gift from the Community Center.
The holiday festivities continue with “Christmas with Santa” on Saturday, December 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Families are invited to enjoy a morning packed with fun and festive activities, including:
- Hot cocoa, pastries, and donuts
- Pictures with Santa
- Cookie decorating
- A Santa letter-writing station
- Christmas crafts and face painting
- A candy cane hunt
- Santa sleigh rides, sponsored by Cliff’s Local Markets
Both events are designed to bring the community together in the spirit of the season.
“We’re thrilled to host these events and open our doors to families and individuals in the community,” said Sandra Soroka, Executive Director of The Neighborhood Center. “The holidays are about togetherness, and we hope these free events will help everyone feel the warmth of the season. From festive music to creating cherished memories with Santa, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
Attendees at both events are encouraged to bring a canned good to support the Community Center’s food pantry.
