MVCC to host November Information Sessions

Mohawk Valley Community College will host several information sessions during November to provide prospective students with opportunities to visit campus and learn about academic programs and services, financial aid options, and more.

General Saturday Session: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 4, in the Admissions Office in Payne Hall at the Utica Campus. This session is scheduled to accommodate prospective students who can’t make it to campus during the week. Presentations will begin promptly at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m., and will be followed by campus tours. Visitors only need to attend one session, which will give them the chance to meet with an admissions counselor and learn about the admissions process, financial aid options, scholarships, athletics, and more.

Health Programs Information Night: 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, in Plumley Complex room 120 at the Rome Campus. This information night provides prospective students interested in a career in health care with the opportunity to learn about MVCC’s various health programs, which include Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Care, Surgical Technology, Health Information Technology, and Nutrition and Dietetics. The session also will provide an overview of admissions deadlines, prerequisites, how to pay for college, and what to expect in each program.

Veterans Day Information Session: 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, in the Admissions Office in Payne Hall at the Utica Campus. This session is scheduled on Veterans Day to accommodate prospective students who have the day off from work or school and can’t make it to campus on regular weekdays. Presentations will begin promptly at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1:30 p.m., and will be followed by campus tours. Visitors only need to attend one session, which will give them the chance to meet with an admissions counselor, discuss financial aid options, scholarships, athletics, and more. Tours the residence halls also will be available.
