MVCC to host information sessions on business degree designed for adult students

Mohawk Valley Community College will host several virtual information sessions about its Adult Degree Program (ADP) in Business Administration, designed to help busy adults earn an associate degree in two years.

The program is designed to be accessible and flexible to better accommodate the needs of adult learners. Students focus on two courses at a time in eight-week intervals. Classes are offered online in the evening with optional weekly check-ins for students to touch base in real time with their instructors and classmates in a virtual setting. A Business Internship course is now built into the curriculum, providing more flexible options for students to build on their experience and make connections with local employers.

The virtual sessions will provide an overview of the program, including admissions requirements, career and transfer opportunities, support services, and how to pay for college. The one-hour sessions will be held via Zoom on the following days:

*   Thursday, Dec. 17 — Noon
*   Friday, Dec. 18 — 1 p.m.
*   Thursday, Jan. 7 — 9 a.m.
*   Thursday, Jan. 14 — 5 p.m.
*   Wednesday, Jan. 20 — 7 p.m.

Registration is required. To learn more and register for one of the above sessions, go to mvcc.edu/visit.
