MVCC to host Information Sessions for students on winter break

Mohawk Valley Community College will host a series of on-campus information sessions for future students next week while most regional high schools are on their mid-winter break.

The sessions will be held at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, Feb. 16-19, in Wilcox Hall room 225 at MVCC’s Utica Campus, 1101 Sherman Drive. Keeping with health and safety guidelines, these sessions have limited seats available. To register for a session, visit www.mvcc.edu/admissions/visit/on-campus-events.php<http://www.mvcc.edu/admissions/visit/on-campus-events.php>.

Each session will include a presentation highlighting MVCC’s academic programs, support services, campus life, and an overview of the admissions process. A campus tour is included in the on-campus sessions, but tours may be limited to the lobby of each building for the health and safety of the college community.

All visitors to campus must follow the College’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols, which include checking in at the campus checkpoint to provide contact information, complete a symptom screening, and have their temperature checked. Masks must be worn by every person on campus at all times, and everyone must practice social distancing and maintain at least six feet of space between other individuals.
