Since 1999, On Point for College has helped 7,800 first-generation youth enroll in college and succeed.  In our area alone, in the past five years, over 600 young adults have enrolled in college through the efforts of this organization.  To mark this enormous achievement, there will be a celebratory dinner on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Utica.

On Point for College, Inc., founded in 1999, is dedicated to developing programs and cultivating relationships to change the lives of traditional and non-traditional, 17- to 29-year-old students by breaking down barriers through access to training, college, and careers for success in life. On Point for College works with students from application to graduation, and beyond, making higher education accessible to youth who have the desire and the will, but who feel college is out of reach due to economic, academic and other barriers.
