MVCC to Host Career Exploration Event in Utica

UTICA—Mohawk Valley Community College’s Career Development Center is hosting Exploring Careers in the Mohawk Valley from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, in the Robert R. Jorgensen Center Fieldhouse on the Utica Campus. The event is open to high school students, their families, and others in the community seeking a career change.

Attendees will be able to talk with local industry leaders and MVCC faculty to learn about the variety of lucrative and stable careers available right here in the Mohawk Valley and what you can do to get started.

Employers from a variety of industries will be on hand, including Bassett Healthcare, Rome Health, the Central New York Psychiatric Center, Utica Police Department, Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency, AmeriCU, Northland Communications, D’Arcangelo & Co., Indium Corp., Wolfspeed, Giotto Enterprises, and WUTR.
