MVCC Students Inducted into Phi Theta Kappa international honor society

There were 51 students from Mohawk Valley Community College inducted into the Lambda Beta Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society on Wednesday, Oct. 4, in the Alumni College Center at MVCC’s Utica Campus. Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society for two-year colleges and the largest honor society in American higher education.

MVCC President Randall J. VanWagoner, Ph.D., and Vice President for Learning and Academic Affairs Maryrose Eannace, Ph.D., were present to welcome the new inductees. Professor David R. Katz III, Executive Director of Organizational Development, was the guest speaker and was awarded honorary membership in Phi Theta Kappa.

Membership in Phi Theta Kappa is offered to students who have a 3.5 GPA or higher over at least 12 credit hours in a degree program. The inductees were:
