The Mohawk Valley Community College Strategic Gaming Club is hosting a Nerd Night this Saturday, Sept. 23, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Clark Mills Fire Department, 7700 Main St., Clinton. The community is invited to drop in at any time to play games and raise money for The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

The theme of the event is “Play games, help people!” and will include board games, card games, door prizes, and a raffle for various pop culture items. This is the first Nerd Night of the semester, and the MVCC Strategic Gaming Club plans to run the event monthly in various locations to raise funds for various organizations.

Stay connected to the club and future events via their Facebook group, www.facebook.com/groups/nerdnightmv/<https://www.facebook.com/groups/nerdnightmv/>. For more information, contact club advisor Melissa Barlett at mbarlett@mvcc.edu<mailto:mbarlett@mvcc.edu>.
