MVCC Family Fun Series to feature screening of ‘Coco’ with themed, kid-friendly activities
The Mohawk Valley Community College Cultural Series will screen the film “Coco” as part of the Family Fun Series at noon Saturday, Feb. 24, in Schafer Theater at MVCC’s Utica Campus, and in Festine Auditorium at the Rome Campus.
The animated “Coco,” rated PG, tells the story about aspiring musician Miguel who, confronted with his family’s ancestral ban on music, enters the Land of the Dead to work out the mystery. The film will be followed by fun, movie-themed activities for kids. Admission is $5 general, $2 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students.
