The Mohawk Valley Community College Cultural Series will host a performance of “Cromania!” by deaf comedian Crom Saunders at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, in Festine Auditorium, Plumley Complex, at the College’s Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave. Admission is $5 general, $2 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students.
Saunders’ one-man show features skits that incorporate pop culture, impersonations, improvisation, American Sign Language, puns, and physical feats into one big laugh fest. He tells stories about his life — from childhood to college and beyond — and draws a lot from contemporary film and theatre, while also paying homage to the classics like Shakespeare and classic horror movies. Learn more about him at thecromsaunders.com.
