This episode of Hot Seat: Media Monday features Sue Litera, the CEO and executive director of the United Way of the Mohawk Valley, and Charles Howard, a digital creator and rapper who goes by the name “Mr. Chat.”
Sue Litera talks about the tornado that hit Rome and how the United Way is helping with the relief efforts. She also talks about the 211 program, which is an information and referral resource for people in need. Charles Howard talks about his music and how he got into it. He also talks about his process for writing and recording songs.
At the end of the show, I asked both guests for their final thoughts. Sue Litera encouraged people to volunteer and donate to the United Way, and Charles Howard encouraged people to keep going and never give up on their dreams.
