MAYOR PALMIERI ANNOUNCES IMPROVEMENTS TO UTICA PARKS & POOLS

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri today announced improvements will be made in several parks and pools throughout the City in the coming weeks.

Specifically, upgrades will be made at Wankel Park’s playground including the installation of a handicap accessible swing set, as well as, the completion of a new swing set at Roscoe Conkling Park.

Buckley and Addison Miller pools are undergoing a two phase
improvement plan. Phase I consists of the installation of new liners and chlorine tanks for both pools with Phase II consisting of roofing,plumbing and electrical work.

These improvements were supported by the Mayor and Common Council.

Mayor Palmieri stated, “It is vitally important the City invest in its parks and pools as these assets provide our residents the quality of life and recreation they deserve.
