Join Citizen Action of New York and co-sponsors Indivisible Mohawk Valley, SEIU 1199, For The Good and the Mohawk Valley Latino Association on Friday, May 1, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the DeSales Center (309 Genesee Street, Utica) for a “Workers Over Billionaires” May Day celebration.
This free community event features a Solidarity Supper with free food items, an Art Build for banners and signs, and a Teach-In on labor and immigrant rights. The program includes speakers Shatasha Edwards, Gianni Notaro, Pastor Jamina, and Sonia Martinez, with performances by Cassandra Harris Lockwood, Bob Heins, Paul Whitney, and J Easy.
