As a mother, one of the things I pay closest attention to is what our leaders and community members are doing for our children and their future.
This is one of the many reasons Anthony Constantino has caught my attention. His commitment to St. Mary’s Institute in Amsterdam was more than words. Through the Constantino Scholarship, he committed to fully funding tuition for as many as 50 children, opening the door for families who otherwise might never have had the opportunity to choose that education for their sons and daughters.
As a parent, I think investments in children matter. Whether it is supporting education, encouraging programs such as Junior ROTC that teach young people discipline, leadership and service, or standing behind the constitutional rights like our second amendment which is important to many families in our district, these are issues worth paying attention to.
What stands out to me most is seeing someone put resources directly back into the community. Paying tuition for local children and supporting opportunities for young people are tangible actions, not simply campaign promises.
As a mother, I want our children to grow up in communities where they are given opportunities to succeed, taught responsibility and encouraged to become strong future leaders. I appreciate seeing Anthony Constantino invest in those values and in the young people who will carry our communities forward.
Thanks,
—
