Utica, New York (April 2026) – Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc. (CFLR) is urging community members, businesses, and advocates to act now as tickets for its Annual Awareness Breakfast on Tuesday, April 14 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Hart’s Hill Inn are selling quickly. reserve their spots as soon as possible to ensure they do not miss this meaningful event!
This year’s breakfast will feature keynote speaker Cristi Kaido of The Mindful Mixer, who will bring a compelling story and ceremony centered on resilience, intention, and wellness. Her perspective will complement the event’s mission to inspire hope, strengthen recovery efforts, and encourage a more connected community.
The highly anticipated event will also honor outstanding leaders in the recovery community. The 2026 Amethyst Award will be presented to Brian Freeman for his decades of mentorship and advocacy, while the 2026 Paul Dunn Advocacy Award will be presented to Robert Green, a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) and New York Certified Peer Specialist (NYCPS), whose work continues to make a lasting impact on individuals
navigating recovery.
In response to growing interest from community partners, CFLR has extended its sponsorship deadline to April 7, offering a final opportunity for organizations and individuals to align with this important cause.
Held during Alcohol Awareness Month, the Annual Awareness Breakfast continues to serve as a platform for connection, education, and collective action in addressing substance use and behavioral health challenges.
